What Are Whole Numbers?

  • Whole Numbers are defined as the set of numbers in Number System including all the Natural Numbers (i.e. Numbers from 1 to ∞) along with the number ‘0’ (zero).
  • These numbers DO NOT include negative numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • The smallest Whole Number is ‘0’ whereas the smallest Natural Number is ‘1’.
  • Whole Numbers are denoted by the letter ‘W’.
  • W = {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, …, ∞}
